Its amazing how fast Mr. S is growing!

Mr. S was looking pretty dapper – sweater vest and some sweet kicks!

Kathleen and Patrick asked us to meet them at a historic village north of Shreveport. It was really chilly that day but the light was fantastic.

After braving the elements, we went to Starbucks together.

Here is a fun picture of Hannah & Benji’s Converse shoes  from today’s shoot! The clouds broke for just a few minutes and the sun came out.

We had a beautiful May afternoon for about an hour!

He is awesome. And he has fresh kicks, too.

I’ve known Mary & AJ for a long time. Mary is my sister Amie’s age. We all went to the same church. Mary contacted us awhile ago about photographing their wedding, but we were already booked. I heard from Mary later that the date had been changed (she said our availability had nothing to do with rescheduling!).

AJ is in the Marines. When he came home for Christmas we took their engagement photos. It was a funky Louisiana winter day, but with the help of Starbucks and the fun couple we got some awesome shots.

Literally the first shot of the day! It’s impossible to miss how much these two love each other.

The great folks from PetStar Animal Care contacted us in the fall. They were about to celebrate their 5th anniversary and wanted to do a fun drawing for their clients. We were really excited to work with them! They had their drawing and the winners were Walter Sobchak and Jeffrey Lebowski. Yes, Walter and Jeffrey!

We met with Walter and Jeffrey and their two owners – Christy and Chris.  We had a great time with this family.

I stepped outside with Chris and Christy and took a few photos of them.

While we were outside, Susan was inside with Walter and Jeffrey. Those guys were sitting at the door watching Chris & Christy!

Part of our Christmas photo special involved a portion of the proceeds going to Operation Christmas Child. In addition to that, our family also packed a few shoe boxes. We have been blessed with such an abundance and these simple shoe boxes mean so much to children all around the world!

We love packing a toy, some candy, coloring books and crayons, and a few personal hygiene products.  We also like to register our boxes online.  After it is delivered, we will get an email telling us where it went!  Last year our box went to a little girl in Iraq.

Stuart “helped”…

We hope to teach our sweet boy how blessed we are and how thankful we need to be.

We hope you have a lot to be thankful for this holiday season, too.  Many thanks to our awesome clients – we’ve had some great shoots!  We’ll be sharing those photos very soon!

Susan’s cousin Rachel got in touch with us for some pictures of her family.  We are glad she did!  We had a great time at the newly renovated Huckleberry Trails park in Ruston.  It was a beautiful day and we got some great shots!
